Capital Campaigns

College of New Rochelle

Completed a $60 million building campaign for their new Wellness Center, which serves both students and the community at the main campus in Westchester, NY.

Theatre For a New Audience

Provided counsel and services for a $61 million building and endowment campaign for their first permenant home to be built across from the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Gillen Brewer School

Completed a $4.02 million campaign to build the School's first permanent home for young children with special needs located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation

Completed a $4.5 million capital and endowment campaign to build their first permanent center at Windham Mountain, New York.

Planning & Training

  • Strategic planning and leadership trainings: El Museo del Barrio and the CUNY City College Architecture School (both sponsored by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund), Theatre for a New Audience, Neighbors Together, Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York Junior League, Sakhi for South Asian Women, Hispanic Resource Center of Mamaroneck, The College of New Rochelle.
  • Led strategic planning initiatives for AFP, Greater New York as board Vice President for Governance and Public Policy, and for Women in Development, New York as board President.  Board Strategic Planning Task Force member of New York Women’s Agenda.

Firsts, Leadership Development

  • Leak and Watts Services – established its first professional development office: planning, annual operations, events, staff recruitment and training; strengthened board leadership, increased annual unrestricted support by 50% from $275,000 to $492,000
  • Common Cause – developed its first major gift initiative for a national organization dependent on direct mail support; helped raise $525,000 in new support in the first 12 months
  • National Urban League – developed its first major gift and planned gift program for its New York headquarters; board and staff recruitment, coaching
  • Gilda’s Club World Wide–- interim development direction and office management; board governance, major gifts program, case for support, annual report, and executive search

  • Bethel Woods Center for the Arts – development assessment and implementation; assisted in creating a new nonprofit within an ongoing $15M enterprise, conceived new mission and positioning statement; developed concepts for anniversary celebration and new teaching institute; managed staff and created the first development operating plan; recruited the first board with the CEO and confirmed $400K in new annual board commitments.
